— ランタンフェスティバルとは —
長崎新地中華街の人たちが、街の振興のために、中国の旧正月（春節）を祝う行事として親しまれていた「春節祭」を、平成6年から「長崎ランタンフェスティバル」として規模を拡大したところ、長崎の冬を彩る一大風物詩となりました。
期間中は、中国の「元宵節」のランタン（中国提灯）を飾る風習に習い、長崎新地中華街はもとより、浜町・観光通りアーケードなど市内中心部は、極彩色のランタンなどで彩られます。
また、中国色豊かなイベントも繰り広げられ、皆様を魅了します。
The annual “Spring Festival” celebration, which was beloved by the people of Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown as a means of promoting the city’s revitalization, was expanded in scale and renamed as the “Nagasaki Lantern Festival” starting from the 6th year of the Heisei era. It has since become a major spectacle that adds vibrancy to Nagasaki’s winter.
During the festival period, following the tradition of decorating lanterns (Chinese lanterns) for the “Yuanxiao Festival” in China, not only Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown but also the city center areas such as Hamamachi and the Tourist Street Arcade are illuminated by brightly colored lanterns.
In addition, various events with a touch of Chinese culture are held, captivating everyone.

今年のランタンフェスティバルは例年より2日長い17日間にわたり開催されます🏮
特に注目を集めている皇帝パレードでは、長崎のシンガーソングライターの福山雅治さん、女優の仲里依紗さんが皇帝・皇后役を務めるため、長崎出身の方には特にたまらないイベントとなりそうです😳
また、現在月9で放送されている長崎を舞台にしたドラマ『君が心をくれたから』でも放送されたランタンフェスティバルの恋ランタンも人気を集めそうです👀
特に永野芽郁さん、山田裕貴さんのファンの方々は絶対に行ってみたい場所かと思います💘😳
観光客の方々には、ランタンフェスティバル以外にもグラバー園やハウステンボスなどたくさんの魅力が詰まった長崎を見て頂きたいと思います！
